Lou! sculpture

Inspired by my colleagues at DNEG Animation, I eagerly awaited the opportunity to participate in Andrea Blasich's sculpture workshop.
The group, comprised of artists from Europe and America, quickly developed a wonderful sense of cohesion. We all brought our sculptures to completion, each one unique and reflecting the diversity of our backgrounds, personalities, and sensibilities.
Andrea is an exceptional artist and mentor. Thanks to his vast experience and remarkable skill, he guided us throughout the process with precise gestures and clear explanations. He shared much more than just a technique; he shared a part of his story and his wisdom.
In the heart of the Lombardy countryside, with his Italian family, Lorena and Luca, Danilo, and surrounded by animals—goats, donkeys, dogs, chickens, and even that mysterious cat—we had a profoundly human and inspiring experience. Rhythmed by Italian food, wine, laughter, and those little moments that become precious, this surreal interlude truly touched me.
Grazie mille! (Cesare! Ma che cazzo!) A presto ragazzi ❤️
